This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and implement the political and coalition strategy for the campaign across Central Texas.
• Establish, nurture, and enhance relationships with elected officials, community leaders, advocacy organizations, labor partners, faith leaders, and important regional stakeholders.
• Identify, recruit, and foster endorsers, validators, and surrogate speakers throughout the area.
• Plan and carry out political events, coalition roundtables, stakeholder briefings, community meetings, and candidate interactions.
• Oversee and mentor the Central Texas Political Associate while managing regional priorities and workflows.
• Provide support for candidate meetings, political events, and surrogate engagements as necessary.
• Prepare briefing documents, political memos, stakeholder profiles, and strategic recommendations for the campaign leadership.
• Monitor political outreach, endorsements, stakeholder engagement, and follow-up activities using campaign databases and internal systems.
• Recognize emerging political opportunities, partnerships, and community issues that enhance the campaign's influence across Central Texas.
• Represent the campaign at political, civic, and community events throughout the region.
• 3–5 years of experience in campaign work, government, labor, nonprofit, or political organizing.
• In-depth knowledge of the Central Texas political landscape, including officials, advocacy organizations, and community leaders.
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong management capabilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic campaign environment.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by campaign demands.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and political tools (e.g., NGP, VAN).
• Access to reliable transportation and readiness to travel frequently across Central Texas.
