Polish VRI/OPI Interpretation Vacancy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific vocabulary related to the healthcare and medical industry, which you will be trained in.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or altering content.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the interpreting process.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and complete interpretation of messages.

• Follow established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report to your team leader effectively.

• Adhere to the dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language (Polish).

• A minimum of 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company is advantageous, but not required.

• Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial, but not essential.

• Understanding of legal terminology is a plus.

• Possession of international certifications in the healthcare field is an asset (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• A high school diploma in your native language is required.

• Demonstrated high emotional intelligence and adaptability to diverse cultures.

• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills are essential.
