This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain long-term, productive relationships with clients, including city officials, elected representatives, community organizations, businesses, and advocacy groups.

• Collaborate with city, university, and community partners to create program rules and requirements that support Veo’s local operations strategy, ensuring both operational and financial sustainability.

• Identify and nurture new market opportunities to assist Veo in expanding its services and products into new cities.

• Provide guidance to Veo’s Operations team to guarantee adherence to local laws and regulations.

• Contribute local insights and strategic frameworks to the Market Entry team to retain, renew, and expand market presence.

• Offer expertise on legal and compliance issues related to policy initiatives and partnerships.

• Travel as necessary to engage with stakeholders, participate in relevant events, and further the company’s mission within the micromobility sector.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in public-private partnerships or a similar field such as urban planning, transportation, politics, urban development, or relevant legal and policy areas.

• Candidates holding a Juris Doctor (JD) degree are particularly encouraged to apply.

• Proven track record in developing and nurturing community partnerships.

• Exceptional ability to manage the dynamics between internal stakeholders; adept at balancing competing interests and focusing on solutions.

• Experience interacting with various City agencies and navigating the intersection of local government and community stakeholders is strongly preferred.

• Entrepreneurial mindset and resourceful nature.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional initiatives to manage complex partnerships and projects in a responsible manner.

• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis is a significant advantage.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding (occasionally unstructured) environment.

• Natural connector with a knack for building responsible relationships.

• Strong skills in proposal writing, communication, and interpersonal relations – a compelling storyteller capable of engaging diverse audiences.

• Competence in prioritizing tasks while maintaining attention to detail across various projects and partnerships.

• Independent self-starter with strong collaborative skills.

• Enthusiasm for travel and readiness for short-notice arrangements.
