This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Oversee and ensure the quality of AI-assisted regulatory monitoring in EU policy, confirming accuracy and identifying any platform omissions or errors prior to client delivery.
• Gather, organize, and analyze data to enhance and refine FiscalNote's digital tools and public affairs platform.
• Convert AI-generated monitoring and analysis into insights relevant to clients, which includes producing flash reports and briefings.
• Assist with issues-management tasks.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of EU legislation and specific EU protocols.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to tight deadlines.
• Conduct quality-assurance evaluations on AI-generated outputs before they are delivered to clients.
• Contribute to the Business Development Team and engage in internal projects.
• Operate both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
• Master's degree in EU Law or EU Affairs/Politics.
• Solid comprehension of EU legislative procedures and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with EU politics and policy-making processes.
• Proficiency in utilizing and critically assessing AI-assisted research and monitoring tools.
• Interest in how technology can enhance intelligence gathering while maintaining a critical perspective on its outputs.
• Capability to produce policy briefings, flash reports, and comprehensive analyses to a consistently high standard.
• Experience in EU public or regulatory affairs is a plus.
• Native or equivalent proficiency in written and spoken English, along with other EU languages.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Ongoing training and support.
• Possibility of extending the initial engagement.
• Monthly compensation of €3,250.
