This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
β’ Oversee permitting activities in accordance with guidance from OSP Construction.
β’ Identify required permits and collaborate with both internal and external resources, as well as permitting authorities.
β’ Acquire necessary approvals, file permit applications, and prepare timely responses.
β’ Engage with agencies and internal teams to foster relationships and support service growth.
β’ Manage tasks according to scheduled expectations, eliminate obstacles, and utilize analytics to predict potential issues.
β’ Implement technical and innovative solutions to successfully acquire permits.
β’ Anticipate permit release timelines to aid construction in planning resources effectively.
β’ Direct internal teams to ensure pole applications are submitted accurately and punctually.
β’ Compile, submit, and monitor permit applications while informing management of any delays along with actionable remedies.
β’ Collaborate with centralized permit teams to synchronize permit submissions with field construction timelines.
β’ Track permit packages via online systems, emails, or in-person follow-ups.
β’ Supervise projects and communicate permit status updates to stakeholders.
β’ Travel to various locations as needed to streamline and facilitate permit approvals.
β’ Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
β’ A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
β’ Preferably experience with permitting across multiple states.
β’ Previous experience in multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams is preferred.
β’ Ability to collaborate within a team, manage diverse personalities, and drive projects to completion.
β’ Strong organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
β’ Must be able to interact with all organizational levels, including external agencies.
β’ Excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
β’ Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
β’ Occasional travel may be necessary, up to 5%, based on company requirements.
