This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Create and sustain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the VFMP Modernization Portfolio using a project management tool like MS Project, encompassing milestones, start and end dates, task dependencies, and the critical path.
• Embed Change Management and Knowledge Management delivery into the portfolio IMS and connect the schedule with existing VFMP tools and tracking systems.
• Break down tasks, durations, and dependencies for program activities, including program/project management, development, business analysis, communications, organizational change management, implementation, strategic planning, and risk/issues management.
• Oversee the master testing schedule, Risk Registry, Stakeholder/RACI Matrix, and dependency documentation for the portfolio.
• Monitor schedule performance against established baselines, identify deviations and risks to delivery, and escalate issues impacting scope, schedule, or budget.
• Assist in the creation of Monthly Status Reports, Quarterly Portfolio Progress Reports, project briefing slides, and meeting minutes to be delivered no later than three business days following meetings.
• Lead and coordinate schedule inputs for project reviews, including Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), Milestone Reviews, and Go/No-Go decision points.
• Collaborate on schedule updates with the Portfolio Manager, VA Program Manager, and project teams, including the Data Integration Project.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in project scheduling or project management support within a large corporation or government agency, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven expertise in developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule in MS Project or a comparable project management tool, including analysis of dependencies and critical path.
• Experience in managing risk registries, stakeholder registries, and program reporting documents.
• A strategic mindset with a proactive outlook on marketing trends and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to handle competing deadlines effectively.
• Background in supporting complex projects and transformation initiatives within the federal government.
• Proficiency in managing intricate client relationships.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Remote work is anticipated.
• Occasional travel for client engagements may be required.
