This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and coordinate the Project Management team.
• Design and execute intricate project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for large-scale or multiple high-complexity projects.
• Ensure alignment with release milestones, environmental readiness, and architectural dependencies.
• Evaluate changes in project scope and their impacts, working alongside technical architects on system design, integrations, and downstream environments.
• Secure stakeholder agreement, approval, and consensus, adjusting project elements as necessary.
• Identify necessary resources and staff for projects.
• Organize project teams to facilitate communication and ensure clarity regarding deadlines, assignments, objectives, release timelines, and technical dependencies.
• Act as the primary contact for client project management.
• Identify changes in staffing or requirements as projects evolve.
• Communicate with clients, company leadership, and project teams; assess and report on project metrics and status.
• Suggest program modifications as required.
• Oversee costs, schedules, and quality by managing project deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Supervise project status reviews and identify risks concerning release readiness, architecture, and infrastructure dependencies.
• Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies and processes in collaboration with cross-functional team leads.
• Anticipate and manage project modifications while ensuring compliance with architectural standards and approved technical designs.
• Gather and assess potential solutions with technical architects for feasibility and scalability.
• Participate in proposal efforts and sales calls, partnering with architects to formulate technically feasible solutions.
• Lead a small team of Project Managers as their people leader.
• Over 9 years of experience managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives throughout the complete project management life cycle.
• Preferred 3 or more years of experience in Medicaid or Medicare.
• Proficient in project management methodologies such as Catalyst or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Expertise in process and governance supporting project methodology execution.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle, including release cycles.
• Knowledge of standardization and compliance, including configuration and change control awareness.
• Understanding of budget development, management, and assurance methods.
• Experience with project management software.
• Ability to translate broader program objectives into defined project scope and milestones.
• Leadership abilities for coaching, mentoring, and training staff while guiding junior colleagues.
• Excellent executive presentation and communication skills.
• Capability to influence and motivate both direct and indirect networks and stakeholders.
• Video cameras must be utilized during all interviews and the initial week of orientation.
• Must reside within the United States for this remote-based position.
