This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Guide and align the Project Management team.
• Develop and execute intricate project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for large or multiple high-complexity projects.
• Ensure consistency with release milestones, environmental readiness, and architectural dependencies.
• Evaluate changes in project scope and their effects on system design, integrations, and downstream environments.
• Collaborate with technical architects to discuss recommendations for scope changes and assess solution feasibility.
• Secure stakeholder agreement, approval, and consensus on various project elements.
• Identify suitable resources and staff projects accordingly.
• Organize project teams to ensure effective communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, objectives, release timelines, and technical dependencies.
• Act as the primary contact with client project management.
• Identify staffing changes or requirements as projects evolve.
• Maintain communication with clients, company leadership, and project team leaders.
• Measure and communicate project metrics and status; suggest program modifications as necessary.
• Oversee costs, schedules, quality, project deliverables, budgets, and risks.
• Design and implement risk mitigation strategies and processes in collaboration with cross-functional team leads.
• Anticipate and manage project changes while ensuring adherence to architectural standards and approved technical designs.
• Participate in proposal initiatives and sales discussions with architects.
• Lead a small team of Project Managers in a people leadership capacity.
• Over 9 years of experience in managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives throughout the entire project management lifecycle.
• At least 3 years of experience with Medicaid or Medicare preferred.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Catalyst or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Expertise in Process & Governance to support the execution of project methodologies.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle, including release cycles.
• Understanding of standardization and compliance with configuration and change control processes.
• Knowledge of budget development, control, and assurance techniques.
• Experience utilizing project management software.
• Ability to convert broader program objectives into clear project scopes and milestones.
• Leadership abilities for coaching, mentoring, and training team members.
• Strong skills in executive presentations.
• Capability to communicate project priorities and inspire stakeholders to take action.
• Video cameras must be utilized during all interviews and the first week of orientation.
