This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Analyze construction drawings to identify plumbing fixtures and necessary tasks.
• Conduct precise plumbing material takeoffs.
• Systematically organize takeoff data into spreadsheets for pricing and proposal generation.
• Assist in acquiring vendor pricing for essential materials.
• Aid in the preparation of accurate project estimates.
• Ensure takeoffs are precise and completed within deadlines.
• Utilize takeoff software to prepare and maintain project data.
• Detect plan discrepancies and communicate them to the team.
• Keep takeoff records and project documentation well-organized.
• Confirm material quantities and the accuracy of takeoffs prior to submission.
• Engage with team members and vendors to clarify project requirements.
• Execute other related duties as assigned.
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
• Capable of reading, interpreting, and comprehending construction drawings, blueprints, and plans.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, methods, and industry vocabulary.
• Demonstrated ability to perform precise material takeoffs and quantity estimations.
• Experience with construction takeoff or estimating software is essential.
• Familiarity with Square Takeoff, Airtable, or comparable construction estimating/takeoff platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience in plumbing takeoffs is a notable advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Highly organized, patient, and capable of effectively managing multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard business tools (email, spreadsheets, document management).
• An innovative thinker, highly adaptable, reliable, self-motivated, and confident.
• Ability to rapidly learn new systems, software, and workflows.
• Competence in understanding and following established processes accurately with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work during U.S. Eastern Time (New York) business hours and adjust to business needs.
