This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Design and implement essential customizations and integrations for Teamcenter.
β’ Develop tailored ITK services, SOA integrations, Active Workspace extensions, workflows, and enterprise integrations spanning CAD, ERP, MES, manufacturing, and engineering systems.
β’ Install, configure, optimize, patch, and upgrade Teamcenter along with its database.
β’ Oversee the performance of the PLM database and infrastructure, including backups, recovery, high availability, monitoring, and readiness for disaster recovery.
β’ Collaborate with engineering teams regarding product data, BOMs, change management, and configuration management.
β’ Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and CI/CD practices.
β’ Manage databases by handling backups, recovery, indexing, statistics, and performance tuning.
β’ Configure and manage Pool Manager, FSC/FCC, Dispatcher, TcServer, and volume management.
β’ Enhance observability of applications, databases, and servers; diagnose and resolve performance issues.
β’ Administer high availability, disaster recovery, patching, and environment refreshes.
β’ Work alongside PLM developers, infrastructure teams, and business units during upgrades and production support.
β’ Conduct load and performance testing to assess capacity, allocate resources, and identify regressions prior to production updates.
β’ Over 5 years of experience managing Teamcenter environments in a production setting.
β’ Extensive knowledge of Teamcenter architecture and administration.
β’ Familiarity with 2-tier/4-tier deployments, FMS, Pool Manager, Dispatcher, and TcServer.
β’ Experience in deploying BMIDE packages and administering Active Workspace.
β’ Proficient in volume and file management as well as Deployment Center operations.
β’ Background in Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, and environment refreshes, particularly versions 14.xβ2506/25.x.
β’ Solid foundation in DBA principles, including performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, backup/recovery, security, and access management.
β’ Skills in log analysis and troubleshooting across database, application, and server layers.
β’ Experience in managing high availability, disaster recovery, and patching for large-scale enterprise applications.
β’ U.S. Person status is necessary for accessing export-controlled data.
β’ Preferred: Familiarity with AWS and containerized deployments using Docker/Kubernetes for Teamcenter.
β’ Preferred: Experience with multisite configurations.
β’ Preferred: Knowledge of tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or Prometheus.
β’ Preferred: Background in DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code using Jenkins, Ansible, or similar platforms.
β’ Preferred: Experience in fast-paced startup environments or in the aerospace/defense manufacturing sector.
β’ Preferred: Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
β’ Preferred: Experience with AI-assisted tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
β’ Preferred: Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret/Top Secret security clearance.
