This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and enhance scalable infrastructure operations processes that support an expanding cloud platform.
• Empower customer-facing and operational teams with secure automation, diagnostic tools, and well-defined workflows.
• Minimize repetitive manual tasks by pinpointing operational challenges and transforming them into automated or self-service solutions.
• Assist in the deployment and preparation of new infrastructure environments, collaborating closely with Infrastructure, DevOps, and Engineering teams.
• Enhance observability, incident response, and operational documentation across production environments.
• Create and maintain runbooks, escalation procedures, and ownership models between technical and customer-facing teams.
• Assess new tools, vendors, or methodologies that could enhance operational efficiency, reliability, or scalability.
• Mentor and empower teams to embrace automation-first methodologies.
• Serve as a liaison between technical infrastructure teams and those supporting customers on a daily basis.
• Solid background in infrastructure, cloud operations, DevOps, platform engineering, or operational engineering.
• Experience in supporting production environments where reliability, incident response, and operational discipline are critical.
• Demonstrated ability to design or implement automation that alleviates manual operational workload.
• Strong skills in scripting, tooling, or workflow automation, with a focus on clarity, maintainability, and security.
• Experience collaborating across various technical and non-technical teams to enhance processes and results.
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, infrastructure platforms, or orchestration technologies.
• Capability to work both hands-on and strategically in a dynamic scale-up environment.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for operational results.
