This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and implement the Platform roadmap: encompassing compute, networking, identity, observability, shared services, and AI/ML tools across AWS and Azure.
• Spearhead cloud modernization initiatives aligned with the AWS and Azure Well-Architected Frameworks.
• Establish golden paths—standardized self-service workflows for service scaffolding, database provisioning, environment setup, and AI workload deployment.
• Advocate for OpenTofu/Ansible as the definitive source of truth for all infrastructure-related tasks.
• Manage organization-wide observability, including metrics, logs, traces, and alerting systems.
• Develop and maintain a self-service shared services catalog.
• Oversee GPU/accelerated computing, model serving, and vector databases.
• Collaborate on migration programs and work alongside peer managers to strategize and implement structured workload migrations.
• A minimum of 8 years in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in engineering management.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency in Terraform is required; experience with GitOps and policy-as-code is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in building an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) with self-service workflows.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Signoz, or Prometheus/Grafana at scale.
• Experience in building and managing multi-team shared service catalogs.
• Led comprehensive platform migration and adoption initiatives.
• Expertise in Kubernetes cluster management, Helm, RBAC, and service mesh.
