Platform Engineer – SRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• We are looking for a Platform Engineer who possesses a strong enthusiasm for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

• In this position, your responsibilities will extend beyond merely maintaining systems; you will create the 'paved roads' that enable developers to deploy code swiftly, securely, and dependably.

• You will be responsible for designing self-service infrastructure, architecting resilient deployment pipelines, and integrating SRE best practices into our internal platform ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Platform & Cloud Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in designing and managing highly available production environments in AWS.

• Infrastructure & Orchestration: In-depth knowledge in managing containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Helm, along with a successful history of writing maintainable Terraform code.

• Automation & GitOps: Proficient in crafting modern CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions and implementing GitOps principles with ArgoCD.

• Observability Mastery: Solid operational experience with observability and telemetry tools such as Elastic Cloud, Prometheus, and Grafana.

• Software Engineering Foundation: Competence in at least one contemporary programming language (e.g., Python, Go, or Java) for developing platform tooling, along with strong Linux/Unix and shell scripting abilities.

• Data Systems Knowledge: Operational expertise in managing and scaling SQL and NoSQL databases within distributed environments.
