Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Azerbaijan.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of Kubernetes clusters, whether self-hosted or in the cloud.

• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure effectively.

• Administer Linux servers, web servers, and application servers.

• Execute configuration management using tools like Puppet and Ansible.

• Manage Infrastructure as Code practices through Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Engage in troubleshooting activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform engineering role.

• In-depth experience with Linux operating systems.

• Significant experience in container orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Proficient in administering self-hosted Kubernetes clusters.

• Experience with either GCP or AWS cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

• Skilled in Python and Bash scripting.

• Knowledgeable in observability tools.

• Experienced with CI/CD processes.

• Strong interpersonal communication abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving proficiency.
