Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Participate in the development and design of the self-service platform.

• Design and construct self-service infrastructure frameworks.

• Transform and encapsulate the AWS footprint into reusable infrastructure-as-code modules.

• Develop and execute evaluation frameworks along with observability practices.

• Assess ecosystem requirements comprehensively to identify platform investment opportunities.

• Ensure architectural outputs are aligned with application workflows.

• Offer technical escalation support during designated timeframes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a software engineer delivering production services.

• Established history of treating infrastructure as an internal product.

• Solid Software Engineering foundations in Python or TypeScript.

• Practical, hands-on cloud experience with AWS or GCP.

• Strong technical intuition regarding the evaluation and telemetry of non-deterministic systems.

• Developer-experience focus: adept at collecting feedback and iterating on platform design.

• Fundamentals of production security, including secrets management and OAuth/OIDC.
