Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, monitor, and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Provide support for containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Automate operational activities utilizing Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.

• Monitor systems, address incidents, and conduct root-cause analysis.

• Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, accounts, licenses, and permissions.

• Control identities and access through Microsoft Entra ID, including MFA and Conditional Access.

• Administer Windows and macOS devices via Microsoft Intune, including enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, updates, encryption, and remote actions.

• Support Apple Business Manager and automate Mac enrollment processes.

• Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, equipment allocation, accounts, and application access.

• Deliver remote technical assistance for hardware, software, networking, VPN, authentication, and connectivity challenges.

• Maintain IT asset records, technical documentation, security protocols, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with engineering, security, operations teams, and external vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations.

• Practical experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and Route 53.

• Familiarity with Terraform or Terragrunt and CI/CD frameworks.

• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Git, and networking concepts.

• Experience in scripting using Bash, Python, or a comparable language.

• Background in administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Experience in managing Windows devices using Microsoft Intune.

• Proven experience providing technical support in a remote setting.

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.

• Authorization to work in the United States.

• Preferred: Experience managing macOS devices through Intune or another MDM solution.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Apple Business Manager, Automated Device Enrollment, and FileVault.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Jamf Pro, Kandji, or Mosyle.

• Preferred: Awareness of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Windows Autopilot.

• Preferred: Experience in healthcare or other regulated sectors.

• Preferred: Relevant certifications in AWS, Microsoft, Kubernetes, Terraform, or security.
