Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Crafting and executing solutions that enable product teams to operate containerized services effortlessly.

• Establishing internal best practices, guidelines, and documentation to assist developers in navigating cloud infrastructure.

• Writing and overseeing code for centrally managed services while enhancing security and reliability.

• Offering support through a dedicated on-call rotation.

• Contributing to technical documentation and Architecture Decision Records to maintain transparency and stability within our ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in at least one general-purpose programming language (Python or Go preferred).

• Significant experience in deploying and optimizing solutions on a major cloud provider (Azure or AWS).

• A solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and the containerization ecosystem (such as Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of Linux, networking, web applications, and database fundamentals.

• Familiarity with monitoring server and application performance, along with troubleshooting skills to address issues in a distributed environment.
