Pivot Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure, maintain, and provide support for the PIVOT platform components and related systems.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues concerning system performance, availability, and functionality.

• Assist with system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.

• Monitor system health and analyze logs to proactively identify and address issues.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders to fulfill mission requirements.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.

• Engage in testing, validation, and deployment processes.

• Offer technical recommendations for system improvements and optimization initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 3 years of experience in supporting enterprise IT systems, platform engineering, or systems administration.

• Proficient in troubleshooting complex technical environments.

• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.

• Experience in virtualization, cloud, networking, or enterprise applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Capability to obtain and maintain necessary government credentials or security clearance, if applicable.

• Preferred: Prior experience supporting federal government or DoD environments.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.

• Preferred: Experience with automation and scripting tools.

• Preferred: Industry certifications such as Security+, Network+, Azure, AWS, or equivalent certifications.
