Pipeline GIS Technician – Level 1, Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist clients with data management and quality assurance initiatives.

• Analyze and interpret data sources from the pipeline industry, including construction drawings, strip maps, material records, and inspection documentation.

• Collaborate with PODS and UPDM industry data models.

• Utilize ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing (APR) for data management.

• Capture, convert, and reconcile data related to pipelines.

• Interpret spatial and technical data related to pipelines, along with designs and preliminary specifications.

• Create, manage, and modify feature classes and spatial datasets.

• Work with geographic projections and coordinate systems.

• Provide expertise in GIS integration, documentation, and implementation.

• Conduct technical writing to support client deliverables.

• Uphold Integrity Plus standards for delivering quality outputs.

• Assist with project tasks and other duties as assigned by the Integrity Plus team.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in GIS, a related science or technology field, or a similar discipline.

• At least 1 year of experience in GIS.

• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro 3.0 or higher, or comparable GIS experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).

• Familiarity with ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing (APR).

• Prior experience with Pipeline GIS is preferred.
