This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Chooses the type and size of pipes, fittings, valves, steel, equipment, and associated materials for assembly as directed.
• Organizes the sequence of operations, utilizing knowledge of geometry, heat effects, and allowances for weld shrinkage in preparation for welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together according to blueprints and project specifications.
• Maneuvers parts into position manually or using hoists, cranes, jigs, fixtures, clamps, and jacks.
• Cuts, threads, bends, and shapes pipe and steel using various tools and equipment.
• Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Performs minor maintenance and cleaning tasks for tools, equipment, and facilities.
• Ensures adherence to all safety and project regulations, including the use of personal safety equipment.
• Undertakes additional duties and activities as necessary.
• Journeyman status with five (5) years of documented experience in the selected craft discipline.
• Competence in reading and interpreting instructions from documentation, sketches, drawings, or verbal directions for the fabrication of engineered pipe and structural steel components.
• Familiarity with the B31.3 piping code and the capability to plan and execute work tasks with minimal supervision.
