
Physician – Women’s & Metabolic Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct telehealth consultations (both video and asynchronous) for patients seeking assistance with metabolic health, weight management, hormonal changes (e.g., perimenopause, menopause), and contraceptive options.
• Prescribe and oversee medications, including GLP-1 receptor agonists, hormonal therapies, and contraceptives, adhering to clinical best practices and Maven’s protocols.
• Collaborate with Maven’s Medical Directors, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and health coaches to guarantee safety, continuity, and consistency in care.
• Contribute to the development of clinical protocols by providing insights on workflow improvements, safety standards, and escalation processes for a scalable digital model.
• Order and analyze laboratory tests and manage dosage modifications based on established protocols or clinical judgment.
• Offer education and counseling to members, focusing on sustainable lifestyle changes, medication safety, and long-term health outcomes.
• Accurately and efficiently document in Maven’s EMR (MPractice), ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Engage in case reviews, quality assurance audits, and clinician training sessions, aiding in the refinement of Maven’s innovative approach to virtual women’s and metabolic health care.
• Board-certified physician in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or OB-GYN with an active and unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Availability to provide coverage for at least 10 hours per week during weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
• Broadly licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in multiple states.
• Preference for clinicians already licensed in 5 or more states.
• Over 5 years of clinical experience in primary care, women’s health, metabolic or obesity medicine, or telehealth.
• Strong clinical judgment and confidence in managing medications related to hormonal and metabolic conditions.
• Comfortable working in an early-stage, rapidly evolving care model where workflows, protocols, and technologies are constantly being refined.
• Effective communicator capable of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and translating clinical insights into product feedback.
• Committed to delivering evidence-based, equitable care and advancing Maven’s mission to enhance health outcomes for women and families.
