Physician, Telehealth – On Demand Urgent Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough medical evaluations suitable for telehealth.

• Order and analyze diagnostics that align with virtual urgent care services.

• Oversee a wide variety of acute, non-life-threatening medical conditions.

• Develop and execute evidence-based care strategies.

• Prescribe medications and diagnostics in accordance with state regulations and telehealth protocols.

• Record all telehealth interactions in the EMR (EPIC).

• Effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding expectations for virtual visits.

• Collaborate with APC colleagues, clinical leaders, and support staff to maintain continuity of care.

• Engage in telehealth-focused training, educational opportunities, and quality improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree.

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.

• Active licensure (or the capacity to obtain) in PA, NJ, and DE.

• Active Pennsylvania DEA registration.

• Experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Acute Care environments.

• Comfortable treating patients of all ages.

• Previous telehealth experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with high-acuity triage, virtual workflows, and remote clinical decision-making is preferred.
