Physician Reviewer – Orthopedic Surgery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• This position offers a telework opportunity for physicians with a caseload tailored to fit your schedule.

• We are seeking specialists listed below who hold an active Texas License to evaluate the medical necessity of treatment requests and, in appeals, the medical necessity of previously denied services.

• Most reviews typically take 15-20 minutes, allowing you to complete multiple cases within an hour.

• Training and onboarding can be finished in under one week, enabling you to start earning compensation for reviews while continuing your active practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active, unrestricted Texas Medical License is required.

• You must be currently practicing.

• Board Certification is mandatory.

• Dane Street provides a streamlined case flow and a user-friendly work portal. We handle all communication, organize and sort all medical records, support all administrative processes, prepare cases thoroughly, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of all determinations/reports.

• A chronological listing of medical records, along with all treatment guidelines used for making determinations, is provided in an easy, click-to-view format.

• In situations where peer-to-peer calls are necessary (for adverse determinations), Dane Street’s peer coordinators ensure provider availability.

• Dane Street offers initial training and an ongoing point of contact for any questions regarding the review process.
