Physician Recruiter – California QME

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Identify and evaluate specialty physicians across various fields, including Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurologists, PM&R, etc., ensuring comprehensive state coverage in California.

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of physician networks and recruitment methodologies.

• Partner with healthcare and insurance organizations to enhance recruitment strategies.

• Leverage computer platforms to assess network deficiencies and improve recruitment effectiveness.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with prominent medical specialists for recruitment initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• Experience in physician recruitment within a Healthcare/Insurance environment or a comparable skill set.

• Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance context is preferred.

• Strong understanding of physician networks, recruitment processes, medical specialties, and related terminology.

• Excellent negotiation abilities, critical thinking, organizational skills, and the capacity to manage time effectively while meeting deadlines.

• Proficiency in computer applications and typing skills are required.

• Over 3 years of experience in Physician Recruitment, particularly within the IME, Workers' Comp, or Medicolegal sectors.

• 2 to 5 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, provider relations, or medical-legal services.

• Knowledge of California DWC, the QME/AME process, and the Medical-Legal Fee Schedule.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities, with strong "cold-calling" and pitching skills; ability to engage effectively with high-level medical specialists.

• Proficient in utilizing computer platforms and data analysis to identify network gaps and physician fee trends.
