Physician Billing Associate, Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute all billing tasks, correspondence, and scanning functions.

• Oversee client billing processes, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.

• Assess and update client statements regularly.

• Generate and dispatch all physical and secondary claims.

• Digitally archive documents to patient accounts.

• Evaluate correspondence and perform follow-ups as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in hospital billing.

• Curiosity and a willingness to embrace innovation, including AI technologies.

• Certification: CRCR is required within six months of employment.

• Experience in insurance follow-up.

• Background in home health care billing.

• Familiarity with Epic systems.

• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and managed care.
