This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Deliver compassionate, evidence-based medical care focused on obesity to patients.
β’ Provide clinical mentorship, collaboration, and oversight to advanced practice clinicians within the National Virtual Care market.
β’ Consult with patients in the National Virtual Care market, particularly emphasizing care delivery in physician-only states.
β’ Create and implement personalized, patient-centered treatment plans that incorporate pharmacotherapy, lifestyle medicine, nutrition, and behavioral health strategies.
β’ Collaborate with registered dietitians and behavioral health professionals within a team-oriented care model.
β’ Work alongside the National Medical Director and clinical leadership to maintain and enhance clinical quality standards and care protocols.
β’ Foster a weight-inclusive and non-stigmatizing care environment.
β’ Engage in ongoing clinical education, quality improvement initiatives, and team meetings.
β’ Participate in a phone-only on-call rotation every 7 to 8 weeks for one week at a time, providing 24/7/365 coverage with nurse-led first-line service overnight and on weekends.
β’ MD or DO degree required.
β’ Successful completion of residency training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a similar specialty.
β’ Possession of unrestricted medical licenses in various states; 50-state licensure is highly preferred.
β’ Current DEA registration.
β’ Strong background, interest, and commitment to obesity medicine and metabolic health.
β’ Commitment to weight-inclusive, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
β’ Board certification or active candidacy in Obesity Medicine (ABOM) preferred.
β’ Experience with anti-obesity medications, including GLP-1 receptor agonists and combination pharmacotherapy preferred.
β’ Familiarity with telehealth models preferred.
β’ Experience and interest in collaborating with and supervising APCs preferred.
β’ Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
β’ Current authorization to work in the United States.
β’ Active National Provider Identifier.
β’ Active DEA registration.
β’ Willingness and eligibility to secure additional state licensure if necessary.
