This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Offer guidance and medical oversight to the Nursing Practitioners engaged in the remote monitoring of patients within designated TN healthcare facilities (based on licensure).
• Perform in-depth and comprehensive evaluations of patient charts, scrutinizing vital signs data, medical histories, and treatment plans to ensure precise, high-quality, and compliant healthcare documentation.
• Guarantee adherence to all pertinent healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and company policies throughout the monitoring process.
• Provide medical insights and suggestions to the NPs for patients needing urgent attention or intervention.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and healthcare facilities to coordinate patient care and enhance the effectiveness of medical interventions informed by remote monitoring data.
• Review and endorse patient charts to ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records.
• Supervise the quality assurance of remote monitoring procedures, pinpointing areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.
• Conduct telemedicine consultations with patients and healthcare providers as required to optimize patient care.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including NPs, product development, and customer support, to improve patient care and ensure the successful implementation of the remote monitoring program.
• MD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.
• Active medical license in Tennessee.
• Board certification in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, or Pulmonary/Critical Care (ABIM or equivalent).
• Eligible for Medicare — must be enrolled or eligible to participate in Medicare.
• Knowledge of Tennessee NP collaborative practice agreement requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and the capability to interpret and act on clinical data.
• Exceptional communication skills for remote collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
