Physical Therapist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform telehealth assessments and create personalized treatment strategies.

• Provide individualized virtual treatment sessions (30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on patient requirements) that emphasize functional mobility, strength, endurance, and activity tolerance.

• Draft Plans of Care and liaise with referring providers as necessary.

• Track patient progress using BreatheSuite's RTM platform and modify programming based on symptom feedback and data patterns.

• Partner with respiratory therapists and nurse practitioners on complex cases.

• Teach patients breathing techniques, activity pacing, and lifestyle factors that influence respiratory health.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation using BreatheSuite's EMR and Therapist Dashboard.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active PT license in a PT Compact member state (required — permits multi-state practice).

• DPT from an accredited institution.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience; experience in geriatrics, home health, cardiopulmonary, or outpatient settings preferred.

• Ability to work independently with patients, including handling direct access cases without a physician referral.

• Comfortable with or willing to learn telehealth platforms, EMR systems, and remote monitoring technologies.

• Familiarity with outpatient PT billing is preferred.

• Access to a computer equipped with a webcam and microphone, as well as a reliable internet connection.

• Minimum availability of 8 hours per week; 16+ hours preferred with consistent weekly availability.
