This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
• Oversee project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
• Break down projects into manageable tasks and establish deadlines for completion.
• Collaborate with clients to identify and clarify their requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Delegate tasks to internal teams and support schedule management.
• Ensure client needs are addressed as projects progress.
• Evaluate risks and opportunities.
• Track project progress and address any issues that arise.
• Report project status to all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the team to remove obstacles.
• Utilize tools to track working hours, plans, and expenditures.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, plans, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with standards and requirements through quality assurance and control monitoring.
• Create schedules and gather documents to guide project orientation and outcomes.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding scheduling, staffing, and technical needs.
• Assist with additional projects and duties as necessary.
• Recent graduate or a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar position.
• Knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework.
• Practical experience with various project management methodologies, tools, and applications.
• Familiarity with the general construction industry and its practices.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks associated with project-related activities.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels within BearCom and with clients.
• Proficient in reading, interpreting, and acting upon technical documents, engineering materials, and contracts or related documents.
• Support cross-functional BearCom teams to meet customer objectives and specific team goals within set time frames and requirements.
• Consistently show commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
• Additional working hours may be necessary.
• Proficient in using machines, tools, equipment, and work aids, including PCs, printers, copiers, faxes, and other office-related equipment.
• Travel may be required on an as-needed basis, potentially up to 25% of a given week.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Drug screenings and background checks, including a Motor Vehicle Record check, are part of the hiring process.
