Director of Information Technology, Cybersecurity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity initiatives.

• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT operations and information security.

• Administer on-premises networks and servers (including VLANs, firewalls, DNS/DHCP) as well as the Azure Government / M365 GCC High environment.

• Handle hybrid identity management (AD / Entra ID): including provisioning, access evaluations, MFA, and PIM.

• Supervise Tier 2/3 support, onboarding processes, and hardware lifecycle to meet SLA targets.

• Lead IT projects and migrations; oversee vendor management, licensing, and asset tracking.

• Take ownership of the CMMC Level 2 / NIST SP 800-171 program.

• Provide reports on posture, risk, and budget performance to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.

• Hands-on experience with M365 GCC High / Azure Government, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, and Defender for Endpoint.

• Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect is essential.

• A working knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC (Level 2+), including the development of SSPs.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple infrastructure and security projects in a resource-limited setting.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly with executive audiences.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support company facilities, compliance assessments, and other business requirements.
