This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate and confirm the accuracy of client project drawings in relation to the QC checklist items.
• Implement suggestions from Engineers and System Designers to enhance drawing sets.
• Acquire knowledge and create security floor plans for access control, video surveillance, and other security systems.
• Generate wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts for access control boards under supervision.
• Assist with fundamental design tasks and create system drawings with general oversight from the Lead System Design Engineer.
• Keep thorough and organized project files and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with Engineers and System Designers throughout the project lifecycle from design to completion.
• Help in preparing and compiling documents and packages.
• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience with Revit is required.
• Preferred experience with Revit in Security, Electrical, or Telecom sectors.
• An Associate degree, Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Electrical Design, or equivalent work experience is necessary.
• Experience in electronic security with vendor-specific knowledge such as Lenel, Software House CCure 9000, DMP, or Milestone is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam is preferred; knowledge of Navisworks and Dynamo is a bonus.
• Highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail and quality of work.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Tech-savvy and eager to learn about new technologies, with a proven capacity to integrate new systems into daily tasks.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7 am-4 pm or 8 am-5 pm PST during onboarding.
• A designated, quiet workspace free from distractions is required.
• Must have access to high-speed internet with a minimum of 200 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Must be able to satisfy client and/or government security screening prerequisites.
• Verification of U.S. citizenship is required due to legal restrictions based on citizenship.
• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory upon hire and every two years thereafter.
