Physical Security Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and installation of security projects across the Bay Area.

• Oversee all facets of projects from initial engagement to final completion.

• Manage various projects and scopes of work simultaneously.

• Define project schedules and scope parameters while ensuring security design and implementation align with client requirements and standards.

• Lead early project initiation tasks and establish project security scope, timelines, key deliverables, and requirements.

• Coordinate scheduling, monitor status, and track essential project tasks, issues, and deliverables.

• Draft, distribute, and manage Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for the scope of security systems installations.

• Assess RFP responses and create evaluation reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of project management experience, ideally in consulting with external clients on program development initiatives and tightly scheduled design and delivery projects.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Familiarity with low-voltage and physical security technology and design concepts.

• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office software.

• Experience with Studio and Bluebeam is advantageous.

• Proficient in project management tools like MS Project, SharePoint, and QuickBase.

• Proven ability to communicate and present complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, in both verbal and written formats.

• Strong capability to identify critical path activities, prioritize tasks and deliverables, and ensure consistent progress.
