PHP Developer – Core Network

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Creating enterprise-level, scalable, and maintainable code by adhering to best practices, efficiently and in alignment with specifications

• Implementing new features or enhancing existing functionalities

• Developing APIs that integrate multiple data sources

• Designing and building RESTful services and APIs for front-end clients and other users

• Transitioning monolithic applications to a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)

• Engaging in daily collaboration with other developers throughout the entire software development lifecycle

• Automating testing processes by writing test code

• Identifying and resolving issues as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in creating or enhancing large-scale distributed systems

• At least 3 years of relevant full-time development experience in PHP

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Laravel

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Go, JavaScript (Node.js), or TypeScript

• Involvement in at least one enterprise-level project development

• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, SQS, Security, Aurora, and DynamoDB

• Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns

• Experience in distributed systems and developing RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of creating multi-language APIs and administrative panels

• Understanding of queue and Pub/Sub systems

• Familiarity with Unit Testing, Feature Testing, and Mocking

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
