PHP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop, test, and implement clean PHP code to introduce new product features.

• Diagnose production issues, resolve bugs, and maintain application stability.

• Refactor outdated code and enhance existing logic while executing assigned tasks.

• Create unit and integration tests to avert future bugs and regressions.

• Engage in grooming sessions to explore technical solutions and provide time estimates.

• Review colleagues' code to identify errors and promote knowledge sharing.

• Construct solutions that align with the current product architecture and technical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess extensive knowledge in PHP (experience with Symfony framework is essential; familiarity with other frameworks is a plus); have worked on real projects utilizing PHP/Symfony.

• Basic understanding of Docker and proficient in Git (branching, pull requests, code reviews).

• Experience with any relational database (MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL): schema design, queries, indexing, and optimization.

• Proven experience in writing unit and integration tests.

• Familiarity with OOP and RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.

• Strong understanding of any message queue management system.

• Background in mentoring and supporting fellow developers.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-player attitude.
