• Design, implement, and consistently enhance quality programs, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with regulatory standards and partner specifications (CLSI, CLIA, CAP)
• Direct root cause analyses for all phlebotomy errors, oversee the corrective action process, and ensure effectiveness checks are performed within 48 business hours
• Manage both internal and external audits, address findings, and develop responses for partners regarding complaints, nonconforming events, and regulatory citations, ensuring regulatory compliance is upheld
• Recognize high-risk draws and highlight potential issues during onboarding to avert errors
• Maintain monthly Quality Specialist scorecards, assess key performance indicators (KPIs), and aid in development planning
• Evaluate clinical data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), report on trends, and leverage insights to improve patient care and operational efficiency
• Offer strategic guidance for quality initiatives to cross-functional teams, collaborating with senior leaders, executives, and field operations
• Spearhead quality initiatives to meet performance targets; apply continuous improvement methodologies, enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs), and streamline processes for safety, effectiveness, and efficiency
• Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and minimize clinical risks, ensuring readiness for new partner launches and trials while upholding high standards for patient care
• Over 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management, ideally within a mobile phlebotomy or clinical environment
• More than 5 years of practical phlebotomy experience
• At least 2 years of supervisory or personnel management experience
• Valid phlebotomy certification (AMT, ASCP, or NCCT)
• Proficient understanding of CLSI standards and CLIA/CAP regulations
