This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take charge of the complete grant lifecycle management in Salesforce, encompassing opportunity setup, award tracking, reporting, closeout, and necessary documentation.
• Facilitate grant kickoff procedures by verifying deliverables, timelines, reporting requirements, internal ownership, and compliance necessities.
• Oversee a rolling 12-month proposal calendar with proactive tracking of deadlines, reminders, and risk escalation.
• Act as the primary Salesforce administrator for Philanthropy, ensuring data quality across funders, prospects, grants, dashboards, reports, and workflows.
• Enhance Salesforce fields, automations, and integrations in collaboration with internal systems teams, including troubleshooting for Salesforce, Power BI, and SharePoint.
• Promote the adoption of grant management processes throughout various business lines.
• Collaborate with program, analytics, and finance teams to guarantee grant compliance, reporting accuracy, budget alignment, and timely deliverables.
• Record funder interactions, cultivation activities, and reporting deliverables in Salesforce to foster shared visibility and follow-through.
• Keep an organized and accurate prospect pipeline with well-defined next steps and ownership.
• Conduct prospect research and prepare briefing materials for leadership.
• Draft and manage prompt grant acknowledgment letters and stewardship communications.
• Assist in the development of board reports, KPI dashboards, and philanthropy updates.
• 3–5 years of experience in grants management, development operations, or a related nonprofit role.
• Strong proficiency in Salesforce, including report creation, workflow management, and oversight of data integrity; experience with NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud is preferred.
• Proven project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple deadlines and coordinate across various teams.
• Knowledge of grant compliance, reporting, and financial coordination.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and comfort in navigating complex systems and processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Planner, OneNote, and Outlook.
