This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Designing a workflow to transfer motions from SMPL-X to humanoid robots (e.g., Unitree G1) within a simulation environment.
• Creating an algorithm for cross-embodiment motion tracking.
• Assessing the efficiency of the tracking algorithm.
• Integrating motion generation models (e.g., diffusion models) with the tracking algorithm.
• Proficiency in PyTorch, deep learning, neural networks, and C++.
• Understanding of effective software development practices, such as git and documentation.
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning and robotic physical simulation.
• Knowledge of SMPL, SMPL-X, or character animation.
• At least one publication in CVPR/ICCV/ECCV/IROS/ICRA or a comparable venue.
• Research experience in both academic and industrial settings.
• Opportunity for paper publication.
