Pharmacy Technician – Refill Calls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Deliver empathetic and knowledgeable support to patients, healthcare providers, and staff.

• Conduct outbound calls for medication refills and handle requests efficiently.

• Manage and prioritize incoming pharmacy calls.

• Confirm prescription orders with pharmacists or healthcare professionals.

• Oversee medication refills and ensure precise data entry.

• Aid in claim processing and resolve issues with rejected claims.

• Assist the pharmacy team by guaranteeing the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of specialty medications.

• Guide patients throughout the refill process and contribute to the smooth operation of the pharmacy.

⛳️ Requirements

• State-registered Pharmacy Technician in Mississippi; CPhT certification preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy technician role.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills.

• Demonstrated empathy, integrity, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.

• Proficient in computer usage, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Capable of navigating the internet and using web-based platforms.

• Data entry and computer skills will be assessed through a pre-employment evaluation.
