Pharmacy Technician Outreach Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Increase the number of new patients being served at a Shields Health System partner pharmacy.

• Work towards establishing key components to transition this role into a synthetic P&L, which includes the ability to accurately monitor costs, revenue, and margins related to program activities.

• Inspire, lead, and motivate direct reports and key stakeholders.

• Discover innovative methods to attract patients to Shields Service, including but not limited to expanding the current waterfall strategy, executing direct campaigns, gaining new payor access, enhancing drug access, exploring MSOT opportunities, renewing PA/FA, ensuring QA, and launching new clinics.

• Collaborate with supervisors to track and review performance KPIs within the assigned portfolio, aiding in the achievement of enrollment, engagement, refill QA, and productivity objectives.

• Offer coaching and support to supervisors to enhance team performance and foster professional growth.

• Continue to expand a comprehensive program that swiftly adapts to new Health System opportunities.

• Possess the ability to resolve issues and effectively navigate complex business challenges.

• Collaborate with the business analytics team to develop essential analytics dashboards and reporting.

• Partner with the TRX team to create necessary functionalities for efficient business operations management.

• Ensure compliance standards are adhered to by every team member and that these standards are actively monitored.

• Utilize innovative strategies to continuously enhance patient engagement approaches, including A/B testing for ongoing improvements in patient messaging, value proposition emphasis, and overall call structures.

• Work together with in-clinic resources, regional managers, and directors to optimize processes, systems, messaging, and alignment strategies.

• Capable of crafting persuasive messages that convey the Shields value narrative and engage patients via outbound calling initiatives.

• Lead by example and embody our core values, while promoting a respectful, diligent, and winning culture.

• Uphold Shields values by maintaining confidentiality of information.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience (or equivalent demonstrated leadership expertise through performance outcomes).

• Prior experience in patient-facing roles and/or patient engagement is preferred.

• Experience in specialty pharmacy or patient outreach is preferred.

• Background in healthcare operations.

• Proven experience in coaching teams to achieve measurable performance results.

• Experience with multi-site or regional oversight is preferred.

• Previous experience leading cross-functional initiatives or mentoring up-and-coming leaders is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification is REQUIRED.

• Up to 25% travel is required.

• Strong computer skills are essential, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for communication, documentation, and data management, as well as navigating internet and web-based platforms.
