Clinical Account Consultant, Pharmacy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Carrying out tasks related to the administration and management of pharmacy programs, which includes, but is not limited to, aiding in the development, implementation, and upkeep of a disease state formulary system.

• Management of utilization management programs.

• Oversight of specialty pharmacy management.

• Providing medication therapy management, supporting client relationships, and creating innovative clinical programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Pharmacist.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in managed care pharmacy or 4 years of consulting experience within the pharmacy benefits industry (completion of a managed care residency can substitute for the 4-year managed care pharmacy experience requirement).

• Familiarity with pharmacy benefits products, services, and concepts.

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to develop reports and synthesize data to create narratives and formulate recommendations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create presentations and present to external business leaders or large groups.

• Collaboration skills for effective problem resolution, negotiation, consensus building, conflict management, and decision-making.

• Ability to build strong relationships with customers.

• Project management skills and relevant experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and clinical/business databases.
