This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Carrying out tasks related to the administration and management of pharmacy programs, which includes, but is not limited to, aiding in the development, implementation, and upkeep of a disease state formulary system.
β’ Management of utilization management programs.
β’ Oversight of specialty pharmacy management.
β’ Providing medication therapy management, supporting client relationships, and creating innovative clinical programs.
β’ Must be a Registered Pharmacist.
β’ A minimum of 4 years of experience in managed care pharmacy or 4 years of consulting experience within the pharmacy benefits industry (completion of a managed care residency can substitute for the 4-year managed care pharmacy experience requirement).
β’ Familiarity with pharmacy benefits products, services, and concepts.
β’ Strong analytical skills, including the ability to develop reports and synthesize data to create narratives and formulate recommendations.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create presentations and present to external business leaders or large groups.
β’ Collaboration skills for effective problem resolution, negotiation, consensus building, conflict management, and decision-making.
β’ Ability to build strong relationships with customers.
β’ Project management skills and relevant experience.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and clinical/business databases.
