• Compiling and generating various daily, weekly, and monthly reports under the guidance of the Pharmacist Lead.
• Delivering an outstanding customer service experience daily in a phone-based setting.
• Responding to incoming calls from existing patients and acting as an ExactCare Pharmacy expert to address their inquiries.
• Making outbound calls to patients to establish, maintain, or update their medication information.
• Conducting outbound calls to provide MTM comprehensive medication reviews and facilitating connections between patients and clinical pharmacists for thorough medication assessments or educational purposes.
• Initiating outbound calls to evaluate medication nonadherence, identify adherence barriers, and offer education, including contacting providers as necessary.
• Screening incoming phone calls and voicemail messages to determine the appropriate course of action and escalating calls when required.
• Keeping patient records meticulously while ensuring confidentiality.
• Balancing multiple tasks and responsibilities with minimal oversight.
• Thriving in a high-volume, fast-paced environment to support ExactCare’s nationwide patient population.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA).
• Must uphold a pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous experience in a phone-based pharmacy environment.
• Experience in a patient care setting.
• Previous Managed Care or MTM experience.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Self-driven and goal-oriented.
• Comfort in a telephone-based environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing organizational requirements and an expanding healthcare sector.
• Outstanding customer service skills: addressing the needs of doctors’ offices, pharmacists, and patients over the phone.
• Pharmaceutical knowledge suitable for a pharmacy technician.
• Understanding of pharmacy billing practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to compile, organize, and merge large data sets, leveraging formulas and Pivot Tables to summarize information.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Capacity to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• A passion for helping others and enhancing their lives.
• Ability to manage objections effectively.
• Critical thinking skills to document essential details in a compliant manner with state and federal regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working collaboratively within a team.
