Pharmacy Technician I – Prior Authorization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide essential pharmacy services and manage prescription benefit functions for internal clients, members, healthcare providers, and pharmacies.

• Evaluate coverage determination requests from providers using the prior authorization system.

• Check coverage determination forms submitted by providers for accuracy and thoroughness.

• Support the team in investigating and resolving issues related to coverage determinations.

• Reach out to providers for additional information to aid in the coverage determination assessment.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmacy.

• Current Pharmacy Technician license for the respective state.

• For Fidelis Care Only: National Pharmacy Technician Certification must be obtained within 90 days.
