Pharmacy Technician Care Coordinator, Spanish Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Support members by assisting with identifying barriers to adherence, enhancing adherence, and facilitating medication orders.

• Conduct follow-up calls with members to manage medication effectively.

• Coordinate the delivery of medications to patients.

• Prepare daily call lists to assist the Pharmacist.

• Guide patients to the Pharmacist for all clinical requirements.

• Oversee patient orders until they are verified by the Pharmacist.

• Complete assigned responsibilities related to medication management services.

• Secure refill authorizations from healthcare providers.

• Process and prepare claims for third-party insurance.

• Professionally manage phone communications and direct customer calls to the appropriate staff.

• Address customer issues or concerns calmly and refer them to the pharmacist as necessary.

• Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Pharmacy technician license or pharmacy technician trainee license issued by the Texas State Board.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Capability to read and transcribe pharmaceutical information accurately.

• Ability to sit for extended periods and stand intermittently.

• Physically capable of bending, reaching, climbing, squatting, lifting, pushing, or pulling at least 40 lbs.

• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
