Lead Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• The Pharmacy Technician Lead acts as the subject matter expert for their assigned pharmacy team.

• They collaborate with Pharmacy Supervisors and Managers to enhance departmental efficiencies.

• This position requires leading by example, supporting both company and departmental objectives, and showcasing the ability to drive results while maintaining consistent work standards within the team.

• Engage significantly in day-to-day tasks as assigned by leadership.

• Deliver training on departmental responsibilities to new hires, cross trainees, and existing team members who need additional assistance.

• Assist in coordinating the completion of cross training through effective communication and scheduling with designated trainees.

• Offer a high level of subject matter expertise to the department by supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including the development of training guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Aid leadership in identifying and enhancing the performance of team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Certification as a Technician with the respective state’s Board of Pharmacy.

• Demonstrated experience with departmental workflows and processes.

• Highly preferred: Prior experience with ExactCare operational workflows and processes in the assigned department.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Exhibits strong time management and organizational skills.

• Exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of adjudicating claims and resolving rejections.

• Capability to adapt to varying training outcomes.

• Utilizes strategic planning to create training schedules/programs aligned with departmental goals and expectations.

• Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and assist in various aspects of operations.
