Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Support the pharmacist with daily responsibilities.

• Aid in the preparation and distribution of comprehensive medication reviews (CMRs) and other pharmaceutical interventions.

• Review medication lists and accurately reconcile prescriptions.

• Dispatch communications from the pharmacy and medical providers via phone or fax.

• Assist the pharmacist with medication-related interventions.

• Contact pharmacies to confirm prescription details and readiness, ensuring member access and adherence.

• Facilitate member access to medications in accordance with specific medication and prescription benefits.

• Collaborate with Monogram Health care managers to enhance access and outcomes related to medications.

• Maintain certification as a pharmacy technician.

• Perform additional administrative tasks to promote health outcomes.

• State board of pharmacy certification as a Pharmacy Technician.

• Understanding of medication therapy management.

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with colleagues, medical practices, and other stakeholders.
