Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver vital clinical and operational assistance to the pharmacy enablement team.

• Oversee prescription workflows and facilitate care coordination with RNs, providers, and coaches.

• Ensure that all member-facing processes are executed with precision and efficiency.

• Leverage medication expertise to guarantee accuracy in processing prescriptions, refills, and prior authorizations.

• Recognize and escalate any potential prescribing or workflow concerns to senior team members when necessary.

• Work collaboratively with RNs, providers, and coaches to organize care and address member issues.

• Clearly communicate updates and accurately document all activities within the established systems.

• Timely and accurately process clinical tickets, appropriately routing faxes, labs, and records.

• Adhere to established SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance.

• Assist in efficiency and quality improvement initiatives under the guidance of senior staff.

• Provide reliable support to clinical personnel for both routine and urgent requests.

• Engage in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and ongoing training opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician Certification or equivalent training is required.

• Preferred 1–2 years of experience in pharmacy operations or telehealth support.

• Strong attention to detail and capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in e-prescribing tools, medical records systems, and communication platforms.

• Demonstrates a proactive approach to utilizing AI tools to enhance individual productivity and efficiency.

• Possesses a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn new technologies.

• Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented.
