Clinical Pharmacist, UM Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the creation and implementation of clinical content for non-specialty programs and services within our Book of Business.

• Overseeing and executing both long-term and ongoing initiatives at the departmental and enterprise levels.

• Collaborating in a matrix relationship with colleagues across various levels and teams.

• Acting as a subject matter expert and primary contact for both direct and indirect teams.

• Exceptional communication abilities and experience in presenting to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid pharmacist license that is in good standing.

• At least 1 year of experience as a managed care pharmacist.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant utilization management work experience, with demonstrated prior authorization expertise.

• A solid understanding of utilization management interventions, including prior authorization, step therapy, quantity limits, and formulary exceptions.

• Proven capability in conducting literature searches and analyzing evidence-based medicine.

• Ability to comprehend and optimize complex workflow processes.

• Comfort in cross-functional collaboration while enhancing inter-departmental relationships.

• Strong clinical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the capability to identify and translate clinical data into actionable clinical program solutions.

• Proficient in various PC applications, including MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
