Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive VISTA pharmacy implementations, managing everything from planning and configuration to go-live assistance and follow-up after deployment.

• Act as a trusted consultant for internal teams and external clients regarding implementation strategies, necessary equipment, software prerequisites, and interface coordination.

• Maintain data integrity by entering, verifying, and overseeing data within VISTA before and during the deployment process.

• Facilitate data transfers from legacy systems and manage interfaces between VISTA and pharmacy equipment.

• Educate and empower customer personnel through hands-on training, competency documentation, and continuous learning opportunities.

• Collaborate with site managers to synchronize deployment schedules, training timelines, and ensure operational readiness.

• Gather and evaluate data to uphold pharmacy standards, ensure quality assurance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage computerized data across all pharmacy software packages, ensuring precision and system reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare information technology.

• General understanding of pharmacy operations within all areas of a pharmacy department.

• Demonstrated experience in documentation, training, and IT support roles.

• Proficient in software applications that support management and operational tasks.

• Strong analytical capabilities with the skill to evaluate, interpret, and utilize complex data.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Self-motivated with the capacity to work autonomously and take initiative.

• Detail-oriented with a consistent and thorough approach to follow-through.

• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of coordinating efforts across diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Post-secondary education in a healthcare, pharmacy, or technology-related discipline.

• Pharmacy Technician Certification from a nationally recognized board OR active state licensure.
