Pharmacy Technician Associate Representative, Inbound Call

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage and prioritize inbound calls from patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, contact center representatives, and internal teams.

• Confirm caller information, evaluate needs, and identify the suitable resolution, transfer, or escalation pathway.

• Address non-clinical pharmacy inquiries within the technician's scope of practice.

• Direct General Verbal Line calls appropriately.

• Conduct warm transfers to pharmacists for clinical consultations or specific medication inquiries.

• Accurately and promptly record interactions, chart notes, customer contact information, call outcomes, and dispositions in pharmacy systems.

• Validate and update prescription details, patient profiles, medication and allergy information, and other pharmacy-related data.

• Provide a professional patient experience while adhering to HIPAA regulations, privacy standards, and quality guidelines.

• Collaborate with pharmacists and operations teams to resolve issues effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Active Pharmacy Technician License is necessary.

• Candidates must reside in Ohio, Florida, or Indiana.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, pharmacy, healthcare, or call center environments is required.

• Proven proficiency in computer skills and data entry accuracy.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting is essential.

• Training shift: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. EST, Monday–Friday, for a duration of 6 weeks.

• Post-training shift: 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. EST, Monday–Friday.

• Home internet must be provided through a cable broadband or fiber optic service provider.

• Minimum internet speeds of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload are required.
