This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Supports Pharmacy Customer Service leadership with the processing of prior authorization requests from both providers and members.
• Collaborates with the pharmacy team to implement policies for managing pharmacy benefits.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of all policies and procedures related to the pharmacy benefit.
• Delivers exemplary customer service and support to both members and physicians.
• Complies with all regulatory standards.
• Works alongside Pharmacists to address clinical issues with providers promptly.
• Accurately documents all inquiries and prior authorization requests per departmental policy.
• Assesses the appropriateness of pharmacy benefits in relation to the corresponding lines of business.
• Engages with providers and members to communicate service details, request additional information, and resolve any outstanding issues.
• Updates current pharmacy benefits and acts as a facilitator for team members.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) - (Required)
• Minimum of 2 years in Customer Service (Required)
• Skills: Communication, Customer Retention, Customer Service, Customer Support Policies, Standards, and Procedures
